ASSOCIATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT – STRATEGIC PLANNING & RECREATION SERVICES DIVISION / STATEWIDE ROAD & TRAIL PROGRAM / SACRAMENTO

The reporting location is 715 P Street, Sacramento, 95814. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Staff Park and Recreation Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated ALA to help direct the development of road and trail management plans and a variety of outdoor recreation projects, critical to State Park operations. Under the supervision of a Staff Park and Recreation Specialist, this incumbent will use best planning practices, research, and analytical expertise to help develop and implement the Statewide Road & Trail Program. This position will be a part of the interdisciplinary Cannabis Watershed Protection Program team.

This position requires a class C California driver's license.

Possession of a valid Certificate of Registration as a Landscape Architect issued by the California Board of Landscape Architects is required. 

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as telework eligible-office centered.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a(n) Registration as a Landscape Architect License. You will be required to provide a copy of your license prior to being hired.
