Position Title: Nurse - OTP/MAT - LPN/ RN

Location: Ocala, FL

Salary: $25.37 | LPN | Non - Exempt; $37.51 | RN | Non - Exempt

About the Role

As the RN/LPN , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:

  • Performs initial physical assessments and performs ongoing re-assessment.
  • Assesses and collects data to determine client stability, safety, and pain status on admission.
  • Integrates assessment findings with previously reported or documented information to determine changes in the client's status.
  • Recognizes interrelationships between assessment findings, medications, and lab findings.
  • Initiates Treatment Plan and Nursing Care Plan.
  • Incorporates the client, family/significant other, developmental and age-appropriate needs.
  • Initiates, verifies, and carries out physician orders transcribing to the Medication Administration Record as appropriate.
  • Assumes leadership role in crisis or emergency situations.
  • Identifies unexpected responses to treatment or other alterations in client condition that requires treatment and communicates with appropriate physician.
  • Works with Nurse Manager and HR Staffing to provide appropriate staffing based on census and acuity.

What We're Looking For

  • Clear and active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the State of Florida.
  • Experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit preferred.
  • ** Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreen assessment and score at least 65% on general assessment.

Drivers Requirement:

Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements.

In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years.
